"Babe I'm so sorry for not picking your calls. " I
said irrespective my mum was there. My mum
became shocked and was grimacing.
"lovely night and sweets dreams. I'm wishing you." I said as I cut off the call.
" I'm feeling gruesome and resented. Uwak. So you now have babes.?
What about the black monkey you just told me. " she said.
"I know you're up to the age of having girl friend but make sure
you're not putting all you thinking on it. Remember, you've other
great important goals and potentials to archieve in life. What I'm
seeing, hearing is arbitrary. I want you to be a kind of vicarious man
with immitent outcomes after you might have finished you study so
don't try to bring a grung or shame to this family. " she added.
"Mum. It's okay, I've heard you. She is just my ordinary friend and
nothing else has gone between two of us." I said.
"Okay. Make sure you control your steps oh." she said then moved
inside the house as I called the girl I met at the jamb registration
center. Her name was Gloria. I don't know why I liked her maybe
because of her cleanliness. She was extra clean, her cloths, shoes,
handbags matched up together and she was really looking good.
"Hello Gloria.." I called..
"Helo who's this?" she said.
"It's me Eminentfada a friend you met few hours ago. ." I said.
"Okay. I'm going to store number." She said.
" your voice is really romantic." I said.
"Thankyou"
I asked her where she is living and she told me the nearby city, I
finalised by asking her when to meet and she said I should make it the
following week.

I kept it as a duty, any where i see a girl, I'd try all my best to
ask for dating which majority of them accepted to date me. I could
remember that faithful sunday I went to church and I happened to sit
close to a very stunning girl who was closer to elegant. I tried all
my best to say hi but she didn't even said anything, she claimed holy
and wasn't in the mood to even respond to me. So I wanted by all means
to atleast get her attention as i quickly go and registered for
special number. Atleast my rapping songs was to be displayed and I had
a feeling that she gonna listen to me when we dismissed. It was time
for my presentation, I moved majestically to the pulpit as the ovation
continued. I collected the micro phone. I thought the songs i had was
gospel engulf, not remembering that it was about love. I nearly sing a
love song during church service. My brain was really looking for words
to combine inorder to make a rapping as everybody started laughing at
me. But all of a sudden, the rapping came and I rapped, though, the
rythms didn't match but Atleast i defended myself from shame.
Benediction prayers were taken. I quickly opened my eyes so that I'd
see the stunning girl.
I said 'HI' she didn't reply. She packed her belongings then moved
without even minding to reply my greetings. I was like depites all my
effort to get ur attentions, you formed. go your way.
